What is Dr. Godley's background?
Dr. Godley is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He earned his MBChB at the University of Cape Town and completed his residency at the University of British Columbia.
Does Dr. Godley have experience with penile procedures?
Yes. He is a certified P-Shot provider, trained by Dr. Charles Runels, who developed that procedure, and he treats Peyronie's disease at Godley Clinic. He is also certified in preventing vascular complications, including recognising and reversing an arterial occlusion.
Should I book Vancouver or Abbotsford?
Whichever is closer: it is the same physician at both. Coal Harbour is the easier trip from downtown, the North Shore, Burnaby and Richmond; Abbotsford is the shorter drive from the Fraser Valley, including Chilliwack, Mission, Langley and Surrey.
What does it cost in Canadian dollars?
Upsize™ Large is $4,490 CAD, Upsize™ XL is $7,490 CAD and Firm-X™ is $1,890 CAD, plus applicable taxes; in British Columbia, GST applies to cosmetic procedures. A $95 CAD booking fee is paid when you book. Your clinic confirms its price before you book. MediCard financing is available, subject to approval, and MediCard discloses its rate, term and any administration fee before you sign.
Is it covered by MSP or private insurance?
No. It is a cosmetic procedure, paid by the patient. The hyaluronic acid filler is a Health Canada–licensed medical device, used off-label for penile enhancement.
Can I have the consultation and the procedure on the same day?
Usually, when Dr. Godley's schedule allows. You have the information session before you travel, and the in-person consultation and the procedure are then booked together; the visit usually takes about an hour.
Can I reach Dr. Godley after the procedure?
Yes. Dr. Godley gives patients his personal phone number, so you can reach him directly with a clinical question after your visit.
